Work at OtterBlock
We are building a small Brisbane practice of senior analysts, project leads and cyber security governance specialists.
Employment is with OtterBlock. You work with the director on engagements OtterBlock owns and on bord.room, from Brisbane. The work is analysis, delivery and governance for organisations that must answer for their systems.
Every engagement is scoped to a result, and the record matters as much as the result. People who do well here write clearly, keep records without being asked, and can explain a control to a board and to a developer.
The work
No roles are open today. These are the roles we expect to open first.
Business analyst
- Run discovery with stakeholders and document current and future state
- Write requirements and acceptance criteria
- Analyse integrations and data flows between systems
- Coordinate user acceptance testing
- Keep the decision record for the engagement
Cyber security governance specialist
- Assess controls against the Essential Eight and the Information Security Manual
- Draft security policy and assign control owners
- Run identity and access reviews
- Maintain the risk register
- Prepare board and executive reporting
