Get started with ADG
Begin with native instructions. Select the governed profile only when the project needs it.
Check the prerequisites
Native setup requires Node.js 20 or later. SQL governance and context preservation also require the sqlite3 CLI. Optional integrations have their own dependencies.
Create native instructions
Clone the public repository, then run the initializer from that checkout against your project. The default creates only missing native Markdown instructions; inspect the result in Git.
git clone https://github.com/zreed3/agentic-development-platform.git
cd agentic-development-platform
npm run adg:init -- --target /path/to/your-projectChoose additional controls
Review the repository’s current adoption guidance before enabling a governed profile. Existing governed installations retain their configured controls when reinitialised. Inventory their controls and audit history before any migration.
npm run adg:init -- --target /path/to/your-project --profile governedValidate in the host project
Verify the checks that matter to your application and test denial paths for the controls you enable. ADG’s own checks are supplementary; acceptance still depends on the host application’s requirements and tests.
